This is a great looking light fitting.The diffuser is thick enough to provide an even light distribution, although of course you can still see the bulbs a little.I'm rating the appearance because ultimately that's what counts.Having said that, it was a bit of a pain to install.Balancing all the parts on top of a ladder is tricky but also expected for this kind of lamp.The problem is the 3 wires that hold the linen/diffuser part are attached to the mounting plate with some weird spring loaded nut.If you pull the wire end (either by accident or to adjust the height or level) you can't pull the wire back out without disassembling the whole attachment. And when you do that... watch out for flying springs!!
