Our catch can prevents oil from getting into pressurized turbo plumbing and stops oil vapors from getting into the intake system that would ultimately lead to lower combustion temperatures and reduced overall efficiency. Just an empty can that can't even be opened if you wanted to put your own condensing media inside. You'll have to shove your media through a 10mm hole, and good luck getting it back out! Biggest flaw, mounting screw holes go completely through the catch can housing. Mounted by two tiny screws that can easily loosen and strip out the soft aluminum can threads, leading to a vacuum leak. You'll have to mess with these screws every time you empty the can. Does collect some oil vapors over time as advertised even without media.
