Beautiful, substantial and rust proof aluminum. Arrived very well protected. Installed pretty easily, but requires a larger wall plate, if attaching to siding. No problem with a flat service. Perfect style and rust proof for the shore. Accepts a nice bright bulb or larger fluorescent.
