The verbiage states it is 12.5 quart, but I ordered an 8 quart and that is what I received. Your web site has an error in the description. It appears to be well constructed. It was definitely made in China from the little owner's manual with very poor translation. I look forward to using it. It is much more impressive than the "sexy" deep fat fryer I bought from Williams Sonoma that only had 1.25" of oil depth. What a joke!
