I bought a similar item off Amazon about 8 months ago when refilling a v10 engine with more pipe work than say a BL mini 850, a time when filling just meant squeezing the top rad hose to move the air along. It worked to the same venturi principle as this from Sealey, similar component parts. However, the tank adaptor was just a push fit, the changeover valves were cheap, the plasticoat handles shed their covering as soon as you touched them, the pressure gauge needle started somewhere up the scale and the system refused to pull down to the prescribed point to create the necessary vacuum etc so I returned it and had the system done for me.Recently I removed the V10 from the car and all cooling and conditioning items were up to air. I purchased this item and soon had the pipes in the car in a flattened state and when I switched over the valve to draw in the 15 lites or so of coolant, the large bucket was emptied in minutes. The most easy process imaginable. Topping up with 1/2 liter of coolant when the engine was restarted meant it was practically 100% filled with this system.Much better quality parts, gauge good, a selection of rubber adaptors provided for the expanding rubber doughnut for the header tank connection. So you do get what you pay for. Recommended
