These are really nice hinges. They are thick, solid brass. I had to replace a set I installed maybe 15 years ago, because the bearings failed, fell apart, and caused the door to drop, which made it so it would not latch (strike and strike plate no longer aligned unless you picked up on the door). The previous set was another manufacturer. These seem better built, and even the screws were nicer. The only downside is that the screw pattern wasn't the same, so I had to mostly drill new holes. This may be by design to avoid reusing stripped out holes. I found one hole on the jamb and door did align, so I used those to temporarily mount each hinge and then drilled the remaining 3 holes in each leaf. These hinges were also just slightly longer than the ones they replaced. Not a big deal, a utility knife and a minute a hinge was all the was required to get them to fit. They operate flawlessly.
