So I purchased this machine to use in my HVAC system and not as a stand-alone. When I received the machine I started using it on my tabletop. I can smell the scent really well, especially at the location I had it sitting but once I put in my HVAC I no longer smell my scent. According to the detailed description, this should cover up to 2000 square feet. My home is 1800 square feet and I do not smell it. I check the system after it was installed for 5 days and the hose had liquid coming through it. So I removed the hose to be sure that the liquid was not just poring into my HVAC although I am not sure if it was or not but the liquid was moving back and forth through the line. So I removed from my HVAC system and ran some alcohol in the hose to clean the line and reinstalled it. It's been going now for 3 more days but I still don't smell my scent and the scent I am using is for that type of machine and very strong. As for the sound, the machine is loud so I would not recommend it as a stand-alone on the inside of the area unless the loud humming will not disturb you. It was definitely too loud for my liking.As for the setup, it was easy. I have not to use the app as of yet so I can write a review on it.I used 3 different oils in this, one from aroma (the hotel) that smelled only for a day then I realized that oil was too thick then changed it to an oil that was very thin but still strong I used from the line VineVida and the scent is powerful, and spreads through the house now vs before, the oil was building up in the clear line to the hvac before when I was using the thicker oilWe have had this for a little over a month now and are pleased with it so far. It covers a nice wide area. The entire first floor smells good. We ordered the scents from the hotel collection and have used “seduction” the old scent used at the Venetian in Vegas. Smells great and reall covers up the scent of our 2 dogs. The app works well and was easy to set the schedule and frequency.All in all… we would recommend so far!I received the goods and there are not enough accessories in it. it lacks bottle, key & black lumpI don't think it's worth the price, it definetly does not cover up to 1000 sq ft, I have it in my family room that leads to the kitchen, you can smell it entering the room it mists like a glade or febreeze air freshner meaning once the time you set end, the fragnace doesnt last as long, for this reason I could have purchased a lot of batteries and automatic air freshners.
