My old makeup mirror broke and I had it since 7th grade... I'm 26 now. My old mirror was a conair from Walgreens for $35.. So I decided it was time to invest in a quality makeup mirror. I finally bought this one as I was impatient to wait until my birthday in April.. I told my husband to get it for me.. hahaI am so glad I went for it! This mirror is not only gorgeous but it's larger than my old mirror and the light is perfect and the cord is thick like an extension cord so it won't kink. I ordered the gold and it matches my mirror above my sink perfectly! I know it's expensive but it's well worth it! You won't regret this purchase!Light really needs to be brighter. For the money paid, the light definetly is not adequateOrdered this because the finish went perfectly with my bathroom and it looked like a really nice mirror. The finish is lovely but the mirror is better without the lighting than with. The lighting on this lamp is really bad. It makes the mirror reflection so dark you can barely see it. I returned it and chose another lamp by another company. Much better!Mirror works well!The cord is long and messy on countertop. Wish it was cordlessI chose the brass finish for this mirror - it's a gorgeous if somewhat bulky mirror but I was willing to over look the thickness of the mirror to have the light around the edges - the lights flickered on and off the first day and then went out completely - I've tried recharging and even leaving it plugged in but nothing worked. After paying over $80 for this mirror, I'm very disappointed.So many products of this type out there today are either silver or rose gold. Neither would delight the heart of my 76yo mother who decorates and wears only yellow gold colors. I like the magnetic charging cord but if you’re looking for a bright lighted mirror this is not the one for you. I was very disappointed with how dim the light is.Not impressed at all. Had to repair it 3 times to get the glass to stay in10x Magnification is the selling point of the mirror, but but it is totally unusable as your nose is touching the glass to see anything, leave alone put your hand there to do anything. The company says it can replace the magnification mirror for a lesser one say 5x, but it is only words, the company does not respond to any requests, which is a big disappointment because otherwise the product seems to be of good quality,An ideal shaving mirror for me or a makeup mirror for the ladies.
