What's the proof?Understand the science behind it first:• Omega 3, 6 and 9 here are the three fatty acids that most companies attach to their Rosehip Oils for having them.• These are mere claims to attract buyers to purchase the products saying it has vitamins, minerals, fatty acids etc.• This, however, works only for those who don't understand the science behind it (most of the buyers).Know Your Omegas:• Omega 3 is the only fatty acid you absolutely need (body, externally and internally).• Omega 5 is only present in Pomegranate Seeds and is a beneficial fatty acid. (Get Pomegranate Seed Oil for that).• One gets their Omega 6s from the vegetable oils they consume (through food). So the less of 6 you have, the better. This clogs pores.• Omega 7 is good but it has palmitic acid (gooey palm oil) which, if higher than the content of the 7 itself, is not good for your skin or body.• Omega 9 is not a necessity because your body already makes this.Note: Read up on the five Omega Fatty Acids and realize that the only Omegas you really need are 3, Omega 5 and Omega 7 (7, only if filtered to have its palmitic acid content reduced).How to know that this is one of the best Rosehip Seed Oil and How to determine the purity & efficiency of Rosehip (Seed) Oil {and Sea Buckthorn Oil} in general?• If the Rosehip Oil smells slightly like fish, it is because it is high in its Omega 3 content. This is a good sign.• If the oil is darker in shade, thicker in texture and smells like mustard or vegetable oil then it's because of the high Omega 6. This is not good for people with oily skin.• Rosehip Seed Oil ranges from dark amber to light golden-orange in color.• Rule of thumb with Rosehip Oil/Sea Buckthorn Oil: The darker the shades of the oil and thicker the texture, the better they are for dry skin; the lighter the shades of the oil and the thinner the texture, the better they are for oily and acne prone skin. This is okay so long as it does not smell pungent, rancid or has a repulsive odor.I hope this helps.PS: This review is coming from someone who spends a significant part of their life in making natural and homemade products, oil blends etc and has experimented with them for a long time. As for the Rosehip Oils, this stands #1 (personally) on the Indian Amazon store in comparison to many other oils on the global store (see attached photo). Most oils and products cause immediate breakouts after use for someone with a combination-sensitive and mildly acne-prone skin.Comparison:Previously purchased Rosehip Seed Oil from the US Amazon store. The international brands have their limitation. The Majestic Pure and Radha are thick and deep orange (clearly good for people with dry skin). Foxbrim’s Rosehip Seed Oil has a thinner viscosity and is lighter in color (good for oily, normal or combination skin). R.V’s Rosehip Seed Oil compares best to Foxbrim. R.V’s oil is, however, good for all skin types, even dry (had a friend with dry skin use it).Go for it. Hope this helps.
