The cutout feature allows for adjustments to center the doors when in the closed position. After installation, simply loosen the screw within the cutout and slightly slide the bracket to desired position so doors close to their center positon. Then snug the screw back in place. Contents of gravity-pivot hinge set Cafe Doors Emporium's gravity-pivot hinge set includes 4 brackets that attach to the door panels, 4 that attach to the door jamb, screw package, and installation instructions. The nylon pieces attached to 4 of the brackets, are what create two of the features of this hinge set: auto-close, hold-open. When the door is pushed open, the door rides up the ramp of the nylon piece. Once the door is released, it rides back down the ramp, acting on gravity, to return the door to center. Should the door be opened past about 120 degrees, the knotch in the nylon piece will get engaged which holds the door in the opened poisition until it is nudged closed.
