I use this tool for Radon mitigation work. This tool is especially useful for cutting 3" pvc pipe inside of customer homes. It make a quick, clean cut without zero mess to clean up. I used to use the ridgid pvc cutter, but you can just tell that the quality of this tool is much greater. It's more bulky than the ridgid, but actually feels a bit lighter.Does just what it claims. Using for cutting plastic pipe and make much cleaner cut that a saw. Only gripe is that I wish it would do smaller sizes as well so I didn't need another tool.I am new to the trade (bought these in 2016), but Reed is what Plumbers use. They work well.good tool. Rarely if ever rans away.We ship exhaust pipe and have to cut them before shipment, and we cut about 20 to 30 pipes a day.Have tried all kind of cutters and by far the best, cleanest safest most accurate cut that is possible.I just ordered the second one so just in case we lose or brake this one we have another one.Very few tools warrant a perfect review. This is one of them. Used to cut 2.5 inch and 3 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe. Simple, precise, fast.
