REED Instruments R9600 Digital Salinity Refractometer with ATC | 0-28% Range | ±0.2% High Accuracy | for Aquariums, Hydroponics & Marine Water Testing

Well made piece of equipment, body is metal, refractometer is calibrated from the factory, easy to read scale, less lines less confusion for me. Do not be weary of the body as it looks like the same as other refractometers. I checked repeatability many times using distilled water and a 35ppm salinity calibration fluid read consistent 36ppm. Verified that indeed the calibration solution is 36ppm. Plastic foam case included is a plus. As this is the only high end refractometer Ive used what I like about it is that it continued to repeat results keeping calibration.
