Beware this rod is not as pictured. This is a 60" solid fixed length brass rod. It is not adjustable. It is not threaded and adjustable to length as pictured. Hanging this rod is going to be a real PIA. I am going to have to carefully measure and install the brackets, then carefully measure and cut the brass rod to length. I will then have to remove one of the brackets, install the rod and carefully reinstall the bracket, then tighten the bracket set screw. If you are not at least moderately handy and have some tools and cutting skills, do not buy this rod. You will be disappointed. I'm already disappointed and I haven't even tried to hang it yet. I should probably return the rod but the lead time on these things is ridiculous. If you don't need exactly a 60" rod I'd recommend you opt for something else.
