Received this April 29th as expected to take to the beach June 22nd. looked great. The directions said it would do what I wanted. Without trying it or I closed the nice case and reopened it at the beach. Putting in the new battery, enclosed, I tried to actually check it out. It would not start. Nothing! Tried a new battery -- Nothing!! Got back today and there is no place to get help!!! there are no telephone numbers to call and there is no way I am going to spend another $189 on a another one. Don't Buy it.Excellent, low cost device. You can select wind speed in several different metrics. MPH and knots were the two I found most helpful. Included in the device is a thermometer. The only variable not measurable with this device is humidity, and I can obtain that from the National Weather Service radio. A spotter or security element can operate it with little training. For the price, great tool.
