I have been using Dermaflage to fill in/correct a deep scar depression for at least 5 yrs. It is my morning ritual and only takes (total) 90 seconds. Tips to get it right (in my experience): (1) make sure skin is dry & ALWAYS use the primer first - dries quickly; (2) after applying small amount (using tip to mix, or mix equal parts then apply w/the little white spatula or toothpick), lightly smooth it down with your finger to slightly flatten & use the little white spatula to press on/fan out the edges; (3) very important to use the (clean) texture pad and keep patting over the top of what you applied - don't worry about tapping too hard; and (4) make sure you keep that up for at least 60 seconds (sometimes I go a little longer). How long it lasts on your skin depends on the humidity of your climate and how much you sweat. I would not wear it during a workout, but don't have issues with just regular walking. It will last up to 14 hrs, sometimes less, sometimes more (depending on factors I mentioned). With more practice, you will be happy with results - don't give up! The "shiny" issue only happens if texture pad is not used during setting process.
