Trans-Dapt Hamburger Oil Pan is made from steel and keeps oil at the pickup for uninterrupted oil flow to the engine. This oil pan features increased oil capacity for improved bearing life and engine durability with the added benefit of lower oil temperatures. It includes a magnetic drain plug with a brass washer, windage screens along with crankshaft scrapers. This scraper removes excess oil from the crankshaft and reduces air bubbles in the engine oil to improve lubricating properties.

I ordered this pan for a 1991 4wd s10 that i am swapping to a early 70s 4 bolt main 350. Let me start by saying i have not yet installed the motor in my truck. But the pan is now installed on my motor. First off the oil pick tube does come with this kit and it is beautiful, a very well made piece. I used a melling m55 oil pump. And it fit perfectly. Now for the pan the gaskets that come with the kit are pretty good quality they are not cork or rubber it almost feels like compressed felt. I dunno we will see how well they work. The pan itself is high quality and fits perfectly. The finish on the pan is not great though. There are some runs in the paint and even a bare spot where it rubbed through the paint sometime on its trip from the factory. Overall not a deal breaker for me. The bolts that come with this kit are allen heads and do not come with washers I absolutely hate allens so i did not use them. I just got a ARP bolt kit and used those. I will update this review once i get the motor installed so far i would rate it a 9/10. I will give it a 5 star rating if it clears my front diff using the manufacturers recommended engine mounts (trans dapt 4406) update. As of today i have test fit the motor and the pan clears the front diff no problem but if you want to use a nv3500 5 speed you will have to put in a new drain plug as the stock location hits the mounting area for the slave cylinder. I was able to put in a new one but its a major oversight by hamburger/trans dapt. They need to move it to a better spot on future pans.
