You have to push down on the handle which exposes the internal mechanisms and looks horrible - it is a bit confusing and ugly to say the least. I think the cheaper version I have in my spare bathroom is way better than this very expensive version. I called to see if I could get it replaced and they said NO - wow. not even an option to help!
