I haven't had this long enough to comment on durability but so far I am really liking this fryer. I have made a couple of things on it and it has worked really well for twice cooked fries as well as fish, running the low high and mid temperatures for frying.The temperature control is super easy, no digital shenanigans just a knob to set the temp. I haven't double checked the temperature accuracy with a probe because everything seemed to time right with what I cook so I imagine it is fairly close.Clean up is where this thing shines. The Oil filtration system works it fixes the biggest hurdle to home frying, what to do with the left over oil. Now you just filter it into the included tube and store it away, no muss no fuss. The filter is very good at cleaning the oil getting most of the solids out and I was still able to use it for other foods after frying fish. The rest of the cleanup is pretty straight forward, take out the air filter from the lid, wipe down the electronics and outer shell and throw the rest in the dishwasher.One thing to note is this isn't very big so you are only going to be able to cook 1-2 servings at a time. Great if you are only cooking for 1-2 people, more of a hassle if you have to cook. for more people. So keep that in mind.
