These kits contain tools required to install a perfect joint every time to prevent failures between pipe and fitting. The Quick Release Cutter provides quick, square cuts on plastic pipe. DEB4 Deburring Tool creates a proper 15 degree chamfer for even distribution of solvent cement. DEB1 (in some kits) deburrs and chamfers 1/2", 3/4", and 1" plastic pipe. The IC1Sl Internal Pipe Cutter (in some kits) yields a uniform internal cut in hard-to-reach places where a tubing cutter will not fit. All tools are contained in a lightweight, hard plastic case.

Great pipe cutting kit! Got this for a song (nearly 1/2 price...guess Amazon's computers were glitched that day). Came as advertised (ignore the photo of the odd pipe cutter...it is wrong). This kit included a sturdy plastic box (large enough to also put my 2 other Reed cutters in), a TCQ2 with PVC wheel, a DEB4, and a DEB1IPS. Works great on plastic pipe up to 2" both cutting and 4" chamfering.Did notice when cutting 1" schedule 80 PVC that cutting creates a temporary ridge on the cut end of the pipe that does not allow it to fit into the DEB1. Solution...use the DEB4 to take off the ridge and finish with the DEB1. This kit makes beautiful square chamfered cuts on PVC and for $135 it was a great deal. Not sure I would buy the kit for the full price of $242, as the items are less expensive purchased individually.Bottom line - Reed makes great tools that should last a lifetime if taken care of properly.
