Moroso 85472 Air Oil Separator Catch Can Kit for Chrysler Dodge Hemi 5.7L 6.1L 6.4L V8 Engines (2005-2015) - Reduces Engine Sludge & Improves Performance for Daily Driving & Racing

Kit arrived yesterday and I quickly wrapped up my yard chores and got down to it. Upon opening the box, I found that all of the parts were in need of assembly. There are no instructions, just a parts list and a few pictures on that paper. I found a great video on YouTube that gives you all of the gotchas in advance and saves some time on installation knowing this. Here is the link: [...].One thing that you will need that is not included or mentioned is a roll of white plumber's thread tape. You should be able to find this at any hardware store really cheap if you don't already own it. Okay, so assembling the parts, it is important to note that the screw in parts are threaded so that they will not screw in all the way, maybe 2.5 turns. Be sure to wrap the threads with plumber's tape for a solid seal. Assemble the catch can loosely and test angles to the final location of the can in the engine compartment, then when it is at your liking, tighten it all up. My install was on a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus. The set up and install took maybe a half an hour. I ended up using most of the supplied hose and the OEM elbow and tube.Pros: Easy Assembly and install. Fits perfectly and the drain is easily accessible. Very high quality part.Cons: Just the assembly, but I understand why as each install is potentially different in configuration and you need that flexibility.I would recommend this over some of the cheaper ones used and you will clearly see the high quality of this item. It comes down to paying for quality and a name brand like Moroso comes through with this catch can.UPDATE: Okay, so I did my first oil change and emptied the catch can. I was really surprised at how easy it is to get under the spout and do the drain into a cut water bottle. No mess. No hassle. = happy camper. Added a few pictures. I am really happy with this product and would recommend.
