Reed's ARW18 is a straight aluminum pipe wrench. It weighs 3. 5 lbs. This aluminum wrench is light and strong, with a titanium-aluminum alloy handle that is heat-treated for maximum strength. After doing research on some wrenches that weren't Ridgid, I settled on Reed. I do commercial plumbing and this thing gets put to use, its holding up great. Lighter than a Ridgid of the same size, not by much, but makes a difference. I've bent other brands aluminum wrenches using a leverage, this has no such issue.One thing that may or may not be an issue to some is the fact it's made in Spain.
