We are very pleased with this fire pit! It is very sturdy, and it has a beautiful design. We have had no problems with rust as some other posters mentioned they had. We do cover it every night with a generic fire pit cover. It has a flat bottom which allows you to stack wood in just the way you want, and it burns down evenly. We previously had a round bottomed fire pit, and the fire was always lopsided and hard to maintain evenly. It is a rather large fire pit, but it's perfect for making a toasty fire. It's a better size for us than smaller pits, as we can invite friends over and sit around the fire! Our whole family can enjoy the fire!
