I've had these several months now an use in my food truck to store the oil between uses and while moving the truck around. seemed to work ok when I got them, but you best make sure your oil is cold, else it seals like a can and you will have to pry it open. also if the oil is too warm or hot when you put it in the can, it makes the paint peel and your oil is trash because it has paint flakes in it. If and I stress if, you can find a stainless steel one, get it, it will be worth the extra cost, these are not to me
