I have been using this pvc cutter every day since i received it. Works great better cut than a sawzawFunciona muy bien para cortar todo los tipos de tubo que especifica y esta hecho de muy buen material para durar muchísimo tiempoNo matter how slow you cut pvc It leaves a flared lip on pvc which makes plumbing more difficult than it needs to be. It comes with a dull cutting wheel which it may be designed that way for a snug joint fitting but a sharper wheel would solve the flared lip issue and still give a snug joint.Noticed the spring had a little uncoiled portion . The action still works not worried ! A lot lighter then my old Ridged ones looking forward to using them tomorrow!Worked as well as the first reed cutters i used in the plumbing field 30 years ago!This tool will last a lifetimeJust don’t loan it out you may never see it againI use it to cut ABS clean cut no de burring neededBought this for doing plumbing work on 4" PVC. Good at first but after a few weeks the blade really started to get dull and was having a tough time cutting foam core PVC even with the wheels cleaned and lubed. Also the ball bearing detent popped of the blade retainer so the blade would fall lose if the cutters were held to the side. I wanted a Ridgid based on prior experiences with Reed products but that was going to take longer to ship and I needed something now.quick way to cut PVCI use these for 2” pvc venting.
