This flashlight is awesome. Coming from a modlite OKW used daily in LE, this wins no questions asked. It’s about 1” longer in overall length, so I plan to try it with the 18350 body. The screw on defuser adds a nice layer of flexibility. I typically leave the defuser on, maintaining 2-3x the candela of high candela LEDs, easily punching through heavily tinted windows, with just enough flood to maintain situational awareness. In a few seconds, take the diffuser off, and it has more throw than anything I’ve seen on the civilian market. Appears well built, and no current concerns with longevity. Replaced my modlite of 2.5 years when the OKW head and tail cap both failed around the same time.Update: switched to the 18350, and prefer that size, as it’s about the size of the Modlite. Battery life is good enough.
