MOUNT TYPES: Inside mounted shades will have a deduction taken of approximately 1/4" to ensure a proper fit inside the window frame.Inside mounted shades require a minimum frame depth of 2.5inch for secure installation. If your window frame depth is less than 2.5inch please select outside mount.Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you wish to cover. Outside mounts are often used when there is not sufficient frame depth for inside mounting.Our shades come with all mounting hardware, and mounting hardware for both inside mount and outside mountINSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1.Measure the inside frame width at three locations-the top,middle,and bottom. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use that number deduct 1/4inch as your inside width when ordering.Step 2. Measure the height at 3 locations-the left,middle,and right side. Record the smallest of the 3 measurements and use the number as your inside width when ordering.OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENT: Step 1. Measure the outside frame width adding 6-10inch to be the outside mount width.Step 2. Measure the outside frame length adding 5-10inch to be the outside mount length. INSIDE MOUNT: Shade width need to be 1/4" less than widnow width,the size you order is shade size not window size and we will not take any deduction.Min depth for inside mount is 2.5".PAY ATTENTION: The width include the brackets which take up 0.75" on each side. So fabric width will be at least 1.5" smaller total. For inside mount you will have a tiny gap on side but it usually can be covered by the window frame, if your frame is too thin to cover the gap,please select outside mount.
OUTSIDE MOUNT: Shade width need to be 3-6" wider than window width, shade length need to be 8-10" longer than window length for better coverage. Our shade are good for both inside mount and outside mount, shade size need to be very accurate so please make sure check below MOUNT TYPE AND MEASUREMENT information before order.

They are very thoughtful and have you recheck measurements one last time, even though I did it 5 times before ordering LOL.Fits perfect and really makes the room dark so grandkids can sleep during naps.This blind also confirmed by 25 year old windows are out of square by 3/8ths of an inch...Will be ording another one soon!What a miserable experience. After taking the time to measure and provide detailed instructions at purchase, seller kept asking for confirmation of measurements. Amazingly the 34in blind width ordered is only 32 inches wide and is useless. Wish Amazon made more clear this is some cheap China company. Now I have to jump hoops to make return.
