This is probably my 7th or 8th set of Cactus work boots I usually buy about a pair a year to 15 months, the boot usually does not fall apart I usually just wear the soles off of them. I have tried higher-end boots and have had the same problem it's just I do a lot of walking.I have never personally bought this particular style before I just wanted to mix it up and they do look nice.I'm pretty sure I ordered the dark brown color but I ended up getting the one that has kind of a redish color (wine color).I would have preferred the dark brown but I'm not going to complain either way and I went ahead and just kept the boots instead of returning them because after a month of me using them as actual work boots you couldn't tell the color anyways so far I'm in this particular pair of boots probably around 30 days or so and they aren't bad. I will warn you these are pretty heavy the pair of them weighs about 5 lb according to my package scale, let me tell you after 9 or 10 hours of being in you are happy to take them off but it's not because they are uncomfortable I would say they are average for a boot (you know once broken in they are sort of comfortable but not exactly what you would say you would go out of your way to wear).Overall I would recommend these boots for somebody that needs an actual pair of work type boots.
