Brass fittings are ugly, hoses are ugly, catch can is black, fittings are brass and bracket is silver. Doesn’t look clean. All around just a bad setup.I have a 2017 Daytona 5.7 with the stock hood cover. I had to watch a couple of youtube videos and finally decided to install it after having it for 2 months. Once I figured out that I had to pull the electrical grommet out of its location the threads for the anchor bolt is exposed. You have to remove the engine cowling (I see alot of pics with the half covers but I hate looking at all that black plastic on the top.) The brass fittings that come with this don't like to face the right direction initially, so you have to get a wrench and risk stripping in order to get them to face the right direction and be level. I didn't use the hose that came with it, instead I went to O'riellys and bought some 400 psi tubing w/ with lettering and some clamps with red nobs. I had to modify the stock plastic cowling/hood cover but it looks pretty awesome! (The valve solution on the bottom is not necessary. I plan on plugging it asap.)Update - Almost a year later. I ended up buying a brass plug for the bottom w/ some thread tape and no more leaks. No engine light issue like I saw on the Charger forums.Works great but had to find a solution for the bolt that was missing from purchaseI got from the warehouse and discovered the design flaw others had mentioned. The mount attaches to the can with a small diameter hidden Allen head machine screw. The screw comes out of it's badly threaded hole when pressure is applied to the armand it's useless.I used 20 minute epoxy to secure the bad screw to the can and used more to reinforce it. I then adapted the set-up to fit on my Wife's 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0 turbo.Product seemed ok. Ball valve on bottom of catch can leaks. Defiantly not a bad product but not a great product. Cheap valve defiantly needs attention as well as the cheap hose supplied. If you have a mass air flow sensor the leaking ball valve would defiantly cause a check engine light and drive ability problemsMust have for the longevity of your engine.I bought this item a week or so ago and it’s been working out great. It came with a missing part but the manufacturer made it right. 4/5 stars, and a good value for the money. The quality of the material and workmanship are superb! The ONLY thing missing is a set of instructions. While it isn't difficult to put together, it did take me a minute to figure it out.Otherwise, it's a GREAT product and well worth the price for the investment. It's large compared to the old one I had had enough tube for both inlet and outlet. The drain valve I feel is not necessary for a 6.4L or maybe even possibly a 5.7l. The bolt that it came with is too long so I installed it right on the center hole where the harness is being held. The bolt also nearly hits a groove on the alternator but wit the correct tools it can be installed. The drain valve bumps the alternator and there's no way of draining it and also is causes an issue if it were to fail and basically all your old spills and ruins you alternator possibly causing a fire.Poor quality, brass elbows don’t tighten to proper alignment, massive amounts of shaving inside can when opened box, only gave one adapter fitting to connect to factory hoses, had to modify, not made for scat pak shaker hood didn’t mention that in add, had to tilt unit down so now it sits crooked, overall very disappointed for the cost.
