I have been using this for some time in order to give myself much needed gamma-linoleic acid (beneficial omega-3). After taking 1 capsule everyday along with 2000 mg of omega-3 through fish oil supplementation for 3 months, my menstrual cramps have virtually disappeared. It has amazing anti-inflammatory properties.This is a good quality product that I am happy with. One day Prime shipping arrived the next day as promised. This is mid Oct and the best by expiration date is Jan. That is only 2.5 months, which is quite short for a supplement.I am pleased with this purchase - no issues or odd side effects. I will be ordering more.I received those capsules today from the seller Healthy Choice Supplements-fullfilled by Amazon. The best before date printed on the bottle is 01/15. That is not very fresh. Upon opening the bottle and smelling inside I could detect a yucky almost foul smell. Very unhappy!! I contacted Amazon and their customer service was as wlays outstanding and they issued a refund for this product. Usually I am very happy with Pure Encapsulations as their supplements are great quality with hardly any additives!Just an FYI these are really big pills! Even though they are gells I still have a hard time swallowing them from time to time. They are very long so if they turn on the way down you feel it.I'm very happy with the black current seed oil.I HAVE TAKEN THIS AND IT IS A GOOD PRODUCTEqual to chiropractor standard process formula.
