An excellent designer I know liked the Newport Brass brand, so I tried them, and love this 18 inch arm. Heavy brass, polished chrome, clean threads. I use this shower arm in an outdoor shower with a fairly heavy shower head outdoors in New England all four seasons. It’s supported only by the threaded end, should last, well… forever. I saw relatively few shower arms in the 18 inch size, am very pleased with this one.Satisfying purchase.
