I got these Carolina boots for every day use outdoors and general work and I really like them. I like the idea they are American made supporting local workers so I didn't have a problem paying a little extra for them but they are well worth it. I like the thick leather and wedge sole. Stitching is good quality. I've had to use them in thick mud and had no problem. Takes a little breaking in but as the day progresses the leather softens up enough they're no problem. Nice insole don't leave my feet hurting. I have a slight arch and had no issues after being on my feet all day. I wear mine with boot socks so that helps as well. Look good too so I use them all the time now no matter what I'm doing. Just kick the mud off wipe them down and good to go. Well worth getting, they are exactly what I want in a boot.
