Old OEM radiator had started leaking. Other than leaking I had no issues with it. Installed this radiator in my 2006 V8 Dakota. With this radiator came a new set of issues. In hot weather the engine runs hotter than normal, temp hand on dash runs toward the H on the gauge, never happened before with the old radiator. The transmission fluid temperature light comes on goes off then back on, sometimes I will stop to let it cool down, I have a fluid cooler on the truck to help with the heating issue of the fluid. I’ve had this truck seven years never had this issue till I install the new radiator. I don’t believe the design of the radiator meets the requirement of the engine. I’m replacing it.☹️
