6" x 12" Solid Brass Floor Register - Mission Style Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish - HVAC Vent Cover for Home, Office & Commercial Spaces

I bought this vent for my kitchen. I like the look of it, however when I received it I saw that the trip around the outside was much higher than necessary and would make it not suitable for a high traffic area where it was to be installed. It's tall enough that it catches the bottom of your shoe. I made 3 attempts to initiate a return. Got no responses. Finally had to get Amazon customer support involved to get a response. I got a response but was told that it was now past the return window but they would make an exception. I then waited for a return label but didnt get one. I reached out a 4th time and finally got return instructions. Then was told I had to pay for shipping because their listing for this item says that the louver lever stands 3/8" tall of the trim and so is not suitable for walking on. Although that may be true that isnt the reason I am returning it. The reason I am returning it is because the trim is too thick. So I paid for shipping to me, then had to write several emails, then pay for shipping back. Next time I'll stick with Build.com. They are much better for customer service.
