We have owned the same Oster clippers for around 23 years that had taken a beating! I ran out of the oil for the last ten years or so, but it still ran. I drop kicked it on hard floor, it still ran. The connection on the cord was being pulled to show the bare wires, it ran until it finally wouldn't connect to power anymore. It CONVENIENTLY quit in the middle of the pandemic, after 23 wonderful years! I have trimmed my husband's curly hair and my son's straight stringy hair with them all these years.The new clippers are awesome just like the old ones, very sturdy, very quiet, a little more power, tougher cord, made with very good materials just like the old one! They look and feel just like the good old ones. My only complaint is my old ones were only $25 and included the two Tapering attachments as pictured, the new ones were a hundred bucks with no taper attachments. The blade plate is slightly different now, so the old beloved attachments won't fit sadly. I guess I will have to hunt for the tapers and shell out a little more for them.
