I just got the a couple days ago and used it once to do the oil change in my 2016 Ecoboost Mustang. I was impressed with the over all quality. The tank is a very thick looking and sturdy plastic. The hoses are a good length and attach to the main hose with no leaks. The unit that I go also included a brake fluid hose for connecting to the caliper bleed screws and using suction to flush or bleed the brakes. The unit was packaged well. The only issue is the hoses were coiled inside the package, so they all were bent into a U. I left them out in the sun, in a length of PCV pipe to warm up. This got them back straight again. The instruction sheet included was only in Chinese, so was useless.The pump, however, worked perfectly. The main hose attached snuggly. There are 3 extension hoses of different diameters that connect to the main hose. I connected the right size for my engine, put it in, pumped the unit 4 or 5 times and it started evacuating the oil. It probably took 10-15 minutes to evacuate just over 4 quarts. My engine holds 6, but the hose can't get to the bottom of the pan due to the shape of the pan. Not a fault of the product. I'll take draining 2 quarts from the drain plug over 6 any day!I do not have an air compressor, so I could not test using air to run the extractor, but I am sure it works.Pros:Solid constructionTight fitting connectionsMultiple hose diamatersAdapter for using compressed airCons:No lid - if the main suction hose it not attached, there is nothing to cover the opening.No storage for the extra hoses. I mounted a section of PCV pipe on my wall and put a drain cap on the bottom so I can store the hoses in it and let the residual oil drain out.These two items are included in their smaller unit. It would be really nice if they were in this one. I can do 2 cars with the capacity of this unit. So for now I have my home made hose holder, and just left the main hose on to act as a lid to prevent spillage.I definitely recommend this as a way to save time and mess in your shop!
