Originally I didn't want to spend the $$, so I bought a cheap pan off ebay. No surprise, it didn't clear the rods on my 388cid stroker! So I spent about 45mins on the phone with Moroso tech support, because their web site had an error.I needed a pass side oil dipstick 2 piece rear main seal, and the web only showed the driver side. We also had to figure out if my oil pump would clear. It's a one piece billet pump from Speedmaster. They had not seen one before. Once we got that solved, I decided to buy it on Amazon and use my store credit card because I would have 6 months to pay it off.I like the fact that this pan has a windage tray built in, as I'm building a 500hp stroker motor and can't put a separate one in.I just wish they hadn't coated it, as I wanted to paint it the same color as the motor. I had to get it sand blasted so I could paint it Chevy engine orange. Looks really great now!
