Works on both left hand and right hand doors. Oil rubbed bronze finish is a "living" finish that will change with time and use. Over time, handling and frequent use create the bronze patina that is the hallmark of the oil-rubbed bronze finish. Complete hardware trim set includes inside and outside handles, inside and outside escutcheon plates, inside thumb latch lock, mounting studs, mounting bolts, gasket, spindle, set screws, bushings and installation instructions. The instructions were a bit confusing but got it all worked out and installed. The door is an Andersen and has three strike plates so it required a very different mechanism which this hardware matched perfectly. Opens out to our outdoor kitchen from our indoor kitchen. When the door is closed it is closed!! Almost sounds like a walkin freezer door closing. Very secure with this hardware!
