I bought this shower head to replace an identical one we have had for years. Even at 1.75GPM, it has a strong and consistent spray and is well balanced. I first tried a larger shower head ( 5"dia ), because it had 3 spray options as opposed to this units single spray. But the larger units have so many nozzle openings, it caused the spray to be very weak. And the different spray options weren't all that impressive. This single spray unit is terrific and installs easily.
