This is the real thing. I opened it immediately; it is concentrated well defined scent, not something with barely any frankincense at all, for I have in the past looked for something similar only to be disappointed in the poor quality. I will no longer waste my money or time to search for anything else. It is very expensive for me but way more than worth the price, a little goes a very long way. There is no other brand that even touches the quality of Doterra. it came packaged with care and it was intact. There was a coupon which was helpful. I use it sparingly; a drop will do a long way. It is nice to have the scent for to prepare for healing and meditation. Anything else I have bought, has been disposed of as it is of poor quality usually and normally doesn't even smell like frankincense. you do not need more than a drop or 2. it is a highly concentrated real product.
