Must use a little at a time, because it sort of loses viscosity and spreads far as it warms and thins out. First application to my hair seemed to cause breakage, but I think the unhealthy hair ends were just unable to hold the moisture. Less breakage and hair grew well with continued use.I like the black castor oil see if it will get my daughter hair to grow but she have 4c hair. will it get her hair to grow.I have used organic castor oil for years, but never with these results. I first went to black castor oil after reading up on it. I tried two brands before this one. One had no scent and a thinner consistency, ad the other had other oils added to it to give it a flower-like smell. I gave each a fair amount of time, three months. Neither worked as well as this one!! This is by far the best castor oil I have used. My nails are thicker and stronger than I have ever experienced! They did grow faster with the other castor oils, but this brand actually gave e nails strong enough to last!! My hair is growing faster, and looks healthier than before!! I will say that there is an odor to this one, so if scent matters more than results try another brand. Mixing scented oils in also works well. The results are well worth it!!I like that the amount is true to the add, the only thing unsure for me is the smell, it doesn't smell like any other castor oil I as m used to make me feel like it possibly not 100% castor oil, that's the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars.I’m pretty sure I’m going to love this product I have to use Jamaican black castor oil before my only problem is I’ve never seen black particles in my other oils I do not know if it was from the product sitting too long or if this is just a problem with my bottle but it is something to look into but other than that I left the product and will order againThis is the best brand of BJCO I have found for my hair. I combined it with a few essential oils and within a few weeks I saw my 4C hair visibly thicken. The only drawback I think you might see is the fact that is does have a smell that some might not like. I don't find the odor overpowering, but some might. For me, it's a non-issue because of the results. I have tried other brands and they don't come close to these results.
