Works for all Jaguars and Land Rovers. We recently purchased two used Jaguars at bargain prices. As expected there are some small issues we wanted to correct, and this device does the trick. However the first one we ordered was defective but Amazon replaced it quickly with a different model, why, we don’t know. The second one works like a charm.My only problem is I purchased for a 2016 and it does not work for my car, starts at 2017, it will read certain things but not everything. But when you do a search on Amazon I searched for a 2016. Cannot get it to load a 2016 online!This used to work well but now I can't seem to update it. It still works but no updates at least right now. I'm not worried i got a better model so this is just a backup now.i had the three amigos and some other fault codes on my Disco and this told me what they were and cleared them out. The shop was going to charge $300 alone just to diagnose the warning lights. Picked this up instead, found out exactly what was wrong and the errors haven't come back.I was expecting more functionality but for the money it is worth having. 2006 RRS's throw codes and going to the dealer is not always in my budget.works well on my 04 discovery 2_Software_The software itself is very easy to use. The GUI is basic and handrails the user through the process, granted that the end user understands the model of the vehicle that they’re diagnosing. It covers an array of Jaguar and LR model types and has an automatic function that will pull up all of the sensors that (at the time of manufacture) were present in the vehicle. However, not all functions are recorded within the database - in cases like this, you need to refer to the manufacturers database / handbook for a full diagnostic._connectos_The connectors are study and of good quality. After 50+ diagnostics, I’m yet to have had any issues with the connection itself._Pricing_The device itself is expensive when matched against its competitors, but the machine works, and works well. The device will pay for itself after the first successful diagnostic._Recommendation_If you need to diagnose your Land Rover or Jaguar, then this machine is fit for purpose.Wanted to keep a check on my Jaguar F Pace and bought this product after others failed to work at all.This is a very well made easy to use device at a good price. The major features such as battery level and exhaust recirc system check works a treat but the majority of other features do not at present even with the latest updates.Does what I want but would be a 5 star if everything worked.This OBD gets very good reviews from customers and professionals, so I have no doubt it is inherently good. However, when I tested it on my Discovery 4 (with a known error code related to the auxiliary battery) it showed nothing. My 2016 Discovery 4 was not included in the list of vehicles in the Scanner and it cannot be updated via Mac computer. I returned it and received a refund almost immediately.A very useful tool that will pay for itself if you're into doing some DIY car work. As it's specific to Land Rover and Jaguar the information is much more detailed than the cheaper generic scanners. It allows you to delve into pretty much every system on your car. My local Jaguar/Land Rover dealer wanted more than the price of this scanner just to plug theirs in.I am not going to go into the ins and outs of this iCarsoft LR V1.0 for LandRover & Jaguar with Oil Service Reset & Battery Tester. 'cos if you are here looking at this review you undoubtedly know what your looking for. I will just say it gives you all the OBD2 data readings you will need to check your motor out. I bought it for my Landy Freelander and I am glad I did as it diagnosed faulty injectors.RECOMMENDED
