Product Description The Westbrass Develosah 9" 2-Handle Instant Hot and Cold Water Dispenser Faucet with HotMaster DigiHot Digital Tank System dispenses instant hot water for food, beverage and cleaning operations. The dispenser instantly provides water at the 6 preset temperatures selected during installation. The unit’s fixed spout design, mounted with its spring back handle behind the faucet, provides extra safety and security during operation. Digihot faucets, are ideal for kitchens or bars; or any location requiring a source of constant, fast, hot water. Water reheats using a superfast 1500 Watt element, which is separated from the water by a stainless steel plate to prevent element corrosion. The tank is laser welded, 304 stainless steel for superior longevity. The dry-start float and the over-heat protector are also stainless steel to prevent off taste and odors caused by copper sulfate compounds. The non-pressurized bladder system prevents catastrophic tank failures. On/off control button is designed for vacation or down time. Stay away from this company and their products and buy a Franke Hot Water Heater instead - much better value for the money!(NOTE: I had to select at least one star to submit this review. They did not earn even one star!)I purchased their Instant Hot and Cold Water heater for our kitchen renovation. Worked ok for a year and a half, with one minor quality control issue -- the little plastic red insert on the hot water handle fell out at some point. I tried to order a new one but they "didn't have any in stock" and I guess they couldn't be bothered to go into the warehouse to find one. This was my first clue that I was not dealing with a world class company.Then about a month ago, I came down in the morning to make some coffee (as I do every day), but that day, I heard a loud hissing sound. Apparently, something "broke" in my unit, through no action on my part, and all the water had boiled away at some point in the night, ultimately frying the entire unit.I called Westbrass (in CA, so 3 hrs behind), spoke to Ivy Sanchez, explained the situation, and she said she would call me back. I received one email from her asking me to provide proof of purchase (sent them my Amazon receipt), and that was the last I heard from them.That was the only time I spoke with Ivy Sanchez. After repeatedly trying to get someone to answer the phone or respond to my emails, I am done with Westbrass.If you are okay throwing away $372 for an under-sink hot water heater (that is also pretty slow, I might add), then by all means, the Westbrass DT1F272-62 9" Develosah 2-Handle Instant Hot and Cold Water Dispenser Faucet is the one for you!If not, as I am not, and if you do not like companies that hide when confronted with the poor quality of their products and fail to take ownership when those products unexpectedly crap out, then look elsewhere (as I have) to meet your needs.Westbrass (the company AND their products) == real trash.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
