I purchased this product in 2018, and it was easy to put on, it fits wonderful I mean it looks like it belongs there. It looks like factory direct. When I bought it, it was in the $30 range and wanted to buy another one and when I seen it was 203 whoa, someone submitted a picture and it looks like they have a different baffle when I purchase mine it made a funny noise at first it wouldn’t go away, I sprayed a little WD-40 on it after about four months of hearing it rattle and that work. No it never collected that much oil maybe a spoonful and I didn’t know if it was working properly. I been get the same results from day one until now , My tail pipe doesn’t have any oil or exhaust stain on it. I seen some tail pipes on other S.I that are completely staying with exhaust so bad it’s even on the bumper, and mine is it like that it’s nice and clean maybe once in a while I have to wipe it but not bad , . It was an excellent product, for the money I mean it was $37, when I went to re-order, $203., Ouch. So would buy another? The good things about it installation is easy, like I said, it looks factory direct. It looks wonderful, what has me worried is every oil change there’s like a teaspoon of oil, I feel there should be more I seen a picture where this canister was filled with about a quarter to almost a half a can of of polluted oil. I done everything, I clean it every oil change , I make sure everything is tight, that part of you PCV valve , any leaks is bad , but there a really nice way to see if you have this problem . After installing if you have a rough idle, then you know that’s the problem, you have a leak, everything needs to be buttoned up, no leaks for it to run properly, but my final answer would I buy one again ,No , and the reason why it is so expensive. If you look at the others, there’s none over $50. Second they’re design issues now I don’t know if they redesigned it but if they did, then they realize they had a problem and made it better. On the other brands. They may be cheaper and they might work good but the problem is they’re universal so you’re not going to get that look like you get off of this product I’m talking about I mean it looks so good as factory, direct, and to prove it, I already mentioned it three times. That’s what I can’t get out of my head. It looks beautiful. I wish I had a review like this one when I first purchased mine, and what Amazon does which I think is terrible, you buy a product, it was just received, Amazon, want you to write a review sometimes I just throw my box to the side and I don’t open it for a couple of days so I don’t have no idea how good it works what I like about it you know you actually need 3 to 6 months to tell if product does what it says,we’ll on other products you need a few weeks, we’ll I know it’s long , but if you’re a car man or car girl, I think you’re fine something’s useful
